For bibliophiles and those interested in the game of cricket, we are pleased to offer a highly rare and unique commemoration volume which was published in honour of the great cricketer and diplomat K. S. Duleepsinhji in 1963.
This book is divided into different sections. It starts with a biographical narrative which recounts the life story of Duleepsinhji. It is followed by the memoirs of some of the most eminent cricketers and writers who played with him or saw him play. Through their reminiscences, they have created a living portrait of this remarkable player. The next section contains anecdotes and impressions compiled from the writings of those who had come in personal contact with Duleepsinhji. This is followed by a section of tributes paid to him after his death by prominent persons in India and abroad. Another important section contains some of Duleepsinhji's most distinctive writings on cricket and sports. The last section presents classified statistical data giving a complete record of all his first-class innings.
Many images of this beautiful rarity (including the complete table of contents & the list of illustrations) are attached herewith for the perusal of those interested.
