For bibliophiles and for those interested in Jainism, we are pleased to offer one of the most precious First Editions of Jain literature — an extremely rare biography of Shri Chandraprabhu Swami, the eighth tirthankara in the current time cycle of Jain cosmology.
First published in 1929 in Bhavnagar, this rare book was commissioned and sponsored by Sheth Harjivandas Deepchand, a successful grain and cotton merchant from Bhavnagar, in memory of his father Sheth Deepchand Gandabhai. Hence, this biography was published as the first book in the Sheth Deepchand Gandabhai Granthmala series.
Many images, including the complete table of contents, are attached herewith for the perusal of those interested.
