Lawrence Frederic Rushbrook Williams :: Great Men of India

A fellow of the All Souls College at the University of Oxford, the great Indologist  Lawrence Frederic Rushbrook Williams was an eminent historian, a diplomat, a civil servant, a consultant for The Times (London), and a judicial official. With an intense fascination for India, Rushbrook Williams became a Professor of Modern History at the University of Allahabad in 1914.
